Onesimus Workshops train churches and ministries to equip prisoners, welcome former prisoners into the life of the church and empower them to do effective ministry.
The Onesimus Workshop is named after the runaway slave in the book of Philemon who became a disciple of Paul’s while in prison. The workshop is designed to equip local churches, ministries, and organizations to productively incorporate returning citizens into their communities. Together we can create space for returning citizens to use their giftings for the Kingdom.
Your church can host an Onesimus Workshop on your own or in collaboration with World Impact. The four-session workshop is flexible so you can work at your own pace—daily, weekly, or monthly. It includes workbooks, facilitator guides and a video. Each session is approximately two hours long. You can even host a workshop with other churches in your area or online through World Impact U.
